About Avoca Football Netball Club

The Avoca Football Netball Club was first formed in 1873 and we are 150 years old.

We currently have five football grades and seven netball grades.

Our first premiership was in season 1909 and since then we have won senior grade premierships in 1910, 23, 27,28,29,35,37,53,80,81,93,96,97,98

1945 was the first season of the Lexton Football League which continued until 2000 when the LFL and the Western Plains League merged to become the Lexton Plains F.L

The Avoca Football Club played in the Lexton Football League every season of its existence, and played in the LPFL

until joining the MCDFNL in 2005.

Netball was introduced into the Lexton Football League in 1957

The Avoca Football Netball Club is very proud of the success that our Netball Girls have had since the inception of

Netball in the Lexton League in 1957.

Over the seven grades of netball we have won 69 Premierships and have been Runners Up 42 times.
