Our Club

The Avoca Football Netball Club is a proud and enduring part of our community, with a rich history that stretches back more than a century. We currently field five football grades and seven netball grades, providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to represent Avoca with pride.

From our first premiership in 1909 to today, the Avoca Football Netball Club has been a proud part of Victoria’s sporting story. We’ve competed through changing leagues and generations, carrying on a legacy of teamwork, passion, and country pride that continues to thrive.

Football

Our first premiership came in 1909, and since then the club has claimed senior football premierships in 1910, 1923, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1935, 1937, 1953, 1980, 1981, 1993, 1996, 1997, and 1998.Generations of players have built on that legacy, keeping the red, white, and blue spirit alive through dedication, teamwork, and community.

Netball

Netball became part of the Lexton Football League in 1957, and the Avoca Netball teams have been making history ever since. Across seven grades, our players have achieved an incredible 69 premierships and 42 runner-up finishes — a testament to the talent, hard work, and sportsmanship that define our club.
