Sad news was received today advising that former Avoca Footballer Graham Field passed away last night.
Graham, or `Bluey`, first played for Avoca in the early 1960’s.
In 1964, aged 16, Bluey was selected at centre half back in the first semi final side which was defeated by Waubra.
Graham transferred to Maryborough in 1966.
Later he captained and coached Hepburn in the Clunes League, where he easily won the club Best & Fairest award.

There are no pictures of Graham playing football for Avoca, but he is pictured at the 1993 Football reunion, far right, with Ray Joseph, and his cousin Ken Field.
