The Avoca Football Netball Club is very excited to announce that Sean Cooper, our local baker and club sponsor, recently won 5th prize in the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle.
The Toyota Good for Footy Raffle is an Australia-wide raffle that raised over 1.25 million dollars for country football clubs in 2024. The money raised from the raffle is distributed to the clubs from which the tickets are purchased.
Sean is a former Avoca Football Netball Club player and purchased his tickets from our raffle page.
The prize is valued at over $20,000.
It is a 2 hour coaching clinic with an AFL Star player at a club’s ground in Australia nominated by the prize winner.
Sean and his wife, Casey, have very generously chosen our club as the recipient and we are very appreciative of this very kind gesture.
We will be using the prize to kick start our junior season in the new year sometime.
