The Avoca Football Netball Club Annual General Meeting will be held at the clubrooms 7.30pm Tuesday November 14, 2023
The ordinary business of the annual general meeting is to:
a) confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting and of any special general meeting held since then;
b) receive and consider-
i) the annual report of the Committee on the activities of the Club during the preceding financial year; and
ii) the financial statements of the Association for the preceding financial year submitted by the Committee in accordance with Part 7 of the Act;
c) elect the members of the Committee.
The Committee wishes to advise that those members in the positions of President, Bar Manager and Social Coordinator will not be re nominating for these positions and such are seeking nominations for these roles.
Nominations of candidates for election as officers of the Club or as general members of the Committee.
a) Shall be in writing, signed by the Nominator and Nominee, both of whom shall be financial members of the Club.
b) Shall be delivered to the Secretary not later than seven (7) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
If insufficient nominations are received to fill all vacancies on the Committee, further nominations shall be received at the Annual General Meeting.
Nomination forms are available from the Secretary Kylie Coghlan or each Committee member.
