The Avoca Football Netball Club is very pleased to announce our Senior & Reserves Football Coach’s for Season 2025.
Senior Coach
Our Senior Coach will be Matt Newton who joined us this season and has been a breath of fresh air to our club and a key player in our back half.
Matt joined us from Clunes, but is better known to many throughout the league as a multiple premiership player for the Navarre FNC.
He is looking forward to working with our many promising younger players, and has already identified some promising recruits.
We are very pleased to welcome Matt, Renee and their children back to the Kennel in 2025.
Reserves Coaching
Our 2024 Reserves Grade Coaching team of Gavin Bayne and George Field have been reappointed for the 2025 season.
Gavin and George have done a fantastic job of coaching our Reserves team into the finals this season and we look forward to seeing what they can do in 2025.

An announcement regarding our Junior Coaching team for season 2025 will be made very soon.
Netball Coaching
The Netball Executive has been very busy, and an announcement is expected in the near future regarding our Netball coaching for season 2025.
Football Re-signings.
The club is very happy with the progress we are making and we have re-signed up to twenty players of our current playing group so far, with more expected to sign in the near future.
We invite all of our supporters to get along next week and cheer on all of our teams in the finals.
