The Avoca Football Netball Club is very pleased to announce that our two retiring Joint Treasurers Kylie Gollop and Stephanie Wardlaw were awarded Life membership at the recent AGM.
Kylie and Steph have been in the treasurer’s role for the past ten seasons and have kept our finances in great shape over that time.
Both Ladies have been involved with our club for many years. Kylie has been involved for 28 years, and Steph for 20 years, and they have given outstanding service during that time.
As well as the fantastic contribution in the treasurer’s role, they were also outstanding contributors on the netball court.
Both playing in netball premierships,
Steph in the 2013 B Grade premiership, and was Captain of the 2015 C Grade premiership team.
Kylie played in four premierships. Three in her formative years of netball in the 1986, 87 & 88 Under 14 teams. And one in the 1993 Reserves Team. Kylie was also a Best & Fairest winner in the 2014 C Grade team.
We are extremely grateful for the contribution that both Steph and Kylie made to our club over their many years of involvement, and we congratulate them both for being awarded Life Membership of our club.
