Snow plays his 300th game.

Andrew “Snow” Wardlaw plays his 300th game this Sunday in the Elimination Final at Carisbrook.

Snow commenced playing for Avoca in 1998 as a ten year old playing in the Under 16 grade.

He went on to play 130 Under 16 games which is still a club record to this day.

As he grew older, his football developed and he won numerous awards along his playing journey.

In 2024 he was the Runner Up in the Under 17 Club Best & Fairest and represented the Lexton Football league in the Under 17 team.

The following year he was 3rd in the MCDFNL Under 17 Best & Fairest award, just two votes from the winner.

In 2007, he won the John Clohesy Memorial Award for the Most Consistent player in the Reserves Grade.

Snow had a spell for a number of years from 2012 and returned to play in 2021.

Had he continued to play, he would be well over the 400 game mark.

The club is very happy to have Snow back involved again and he is also now an active Committee member and was awarded Life Membership on Sunday, and we look forward to his continued involvement for years to come.

Congratulations on playing your 300th game on Sunday Snow!
